Ghanaian music sensation Kuame Eugene narrowly avoided a tragic accident when his vehicle collided with a tipper truck near CP close to DSTV’s headquarters along the George Walker Bush N1 Highway on Sunday night.
The incident, which took place around 11:30 pm, saw the musician’s Range Rover crashing into the tipper truck from behind, resulting in considerable damage to his car, identified by registration number GC 220-21.
Eyewitnesses at the scene recounted how the award-winning artist was immediately provided with transportation arranged by ModernGhana editor Ajarfor to swiftly convey Kuame Eugene and another individual to the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) for urgent medical attention. The Achimota Police were also called upon to aid in managing the situation.
Reports from those who stopped to assist revealed that Kuame Eugene sustained injuries, including a broken wrist and a deep cut on his right hand, as a consequence of the accident.
