The Volta Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress(NDC), Hon. James Gunu has asked Ghanaian youth to own John Mahama’s 24-hour economy policy to make it a reality.
Mr. James Gunu made this statement while speaking at the annual easter football gala organized by the Kpadzeglo ward of the NDC wing at Kpedzeglo in the Central Tongu constituency of the Volta Region.Participating towns include Asiekpe, Mankukorfe, Kpedzegblo, Kpokorpe and Tosukope.
According to Mr. Gunu, the 24-hour economy policy proposed by H. E. John Dramami Mahama would transform the ailing Ghanaian economy and create more jobs for the youth.
He also urged the people to use the Easter events like conventions, crusades, picnics, and other social gatherings to encourage those who are old enough to vote but haven’t registered yet to get themselves registered when the Electoral Commission starts its registration exercise.
According to him, the Electoral Commission will start the limited voter registration exercise from May 7th to 27th, 2024, and efforts must be made by all and sundry to ensure that al tbose who ate qualified are registered.
The Regional Secretary further prayed the crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ bring unity, peace, and victory to families, communities, and the party.
