Gabby Otchere-Darko, a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has voiced his vision for a future where business individuals are divorced from political ties.
He stressed the significance of viewing businesspersons as autonomous entities dedicated to achievement and employment generation, rather than categorizing them according to their political alliances.
In a recent communication, Otchere-Darko underscored the adverse effects of associating business figures with political affiliations, asserting that such labeling obstructs progress and advancement across Africa.
He advocated for a paradigm shift towards acknowledging the contributions of business individuals to the economy, irrespective of their political convictions.
According to him, he eagerly awaits the era when business individuals are simply recognized for their entrepreneurial endeavors, devoid of partisan labels.
“I yearn for the day when business people will just be business people. And, will not be treated with party political brush. Not NKP business man or DCP business man. They just want their business to succeed and create jobs. The tagging destroys. It stifles growth in Africa,” he posted on X.
