As part of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s strategy to secure a resounding victory in the upcoming 2024 general elections, National Chairman Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia will embark on a significant retail campaign tour across the Volta Region.
The tour, which will span four days from October 8th to October 12th, 2024, aims to galvanize party supporters and engage with communities at the grassroots level.
This campaign tour is an essential component of the NDC’s broader nationwide retail campaign, which seeks to consolidate support for the party under the leadership of former President and presidential candidate H.E. John Dramani Mahama.
During the tour, the National Chairman will address key issues facing the nation, present the party’s vision for the future, and interact directly with party members and the general public.
The itinerary includes community engagements in various constituencies, including Hohoe, Kpando, Afadzato South, Ketu North, and Akatsi South, among others. These interactions will provide a platform for discussing local concerns and reaffirming the NDC’s commitment to addressing them.
In addition to the community engagements, the Chairman will attend the funeral of Dr. Felix Kwame Semavor in Ho Central on October 12th.
The NDC’s Volta Regional Secretary, Hon. James Gunu, emphasized the importance of this tour in building momentum ahead of the 2024 elections. He also expressed gratitude for the dedication and commitment of party members in the region.
The tour will conclude with Chairman Asiedu Nketia’s return to Accra on October 12th, following the final engagements in Central Tongu.
