A devastating accident on the Accra-Kumasi Highway at Kyekyewere has allegedly resulted in the loss of five lives and left several others with different levels of injuries.
The deceased include two females and three males, whose identities are currently unknown.
The unfortunate accident, happening approximately at 3:25 pm, involved a green sprinter bus with the registration number GT 6673-13, heading from Accra to Kumasi.
The cause of the accident remains undetermined at this point.
The bodies of the deceased have been moved to the Suhum Government Hospital, while the injured are undergoing medical treatment.
