Alan Kwodwko Kyerematen, a former Minister of Trade and a prominent contender vying for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) flagbearership, has conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed delegates of the Special Electoral College.
This distinguished assembly has chosen him as one of the notable presidential aspirants poised to pr part of the upcoming November 4th primaries.
Through a press release dated Sunday, August 27, 2023, Mr. Alan Kyerematen eloquently expressed his profound gratitude to the divine providence of God. He acknowledged the grace and benevolence that have illuminated his journey, guiding him thus far on this significant trajectory.
He also thanked the delegates, by stating; “I wish to use this opportunity to thank the Almighty God for His grace and mercy in guiding my path this far.”
Mr. Kyerematen also expressed his disappointment about the brutal assault on his polling agent in the North East Region.
“I would however like to express my deep sorrow about the brutal assault on my polling agent in the North East Region. This is an indelible blot on the integrity of the internal democratic process within the NPP.”
He indicated that “the A4P Campaign Coordination team is currently analysing the results of the Special Electoral College Election, and in the course of this week I will deliver a public broadcast on the way forward for my campaign.”
“I wish to reassure my teeming supporters, particularly those at the grassroot level that the battle is still the Lord’s, and that those who wait upon the Lord shall have their strength renewed,” he added.
