The Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia is set to visit the World Bank of his party, the Volta Region, on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
According to a press release signed by the Volta Regional Secretary of the NDC, Hon. James Gunu, the National Chairman is scheduled to visit Anfoega in the North Dayi Constituency for a graduation ceremony for about eighty (80) beneficiaries of Hon. Joycelyn Tetteh’s Skills Development and Empowerment Programme.
The programme is dubbed: “Empowering our Women for a Better North Dayi”
The beneficiaries, drawn from different parts of the constituency, went through a successful two years of intensive apprenticeship in hair dressing.
The National Chairman, popularly known as Chairman General, will also pay a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Anfoega Traditional, Togbi Tepre Hodo IV, who also doubles as the President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs.
The visit is the first to the Volta Region, after his election, at the just ended national delegates congress of the party on December 17, 2022.
