Information reaching InsiderGH.com indicates that National Communication Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Sammy Gyamfi, National Youth Organizer George Opare Addo and Deputy Communications Officer, Malik Basintale have been attcked by unknown thugs suspected to be deployed by the ruling NPP.
Reacting on social media, Mr. Opare Addo stated that: “unwavering and resolute! Our commitment remains unshaken until Gyakye Quayson is officially declared the winner! Regardless of any attempts by the NPP to deploy their thugs, we will persist in ensuring justice prevails!”
“I am well! Let’s not get distracted. And most importantly, let all our men remain at post and remain vigilant. We are winning!!” he added.
Speaking to the media, Deputy General Secretary, Mustapha Gbande stated that there was no need for the military to be deployed into the constituency because voting is going on peacefully.
According to him, the military are deployed only when situations are escalation.
He further affirmed widespread report on social Media that Sammy Gyamfi, George Opare Addo and Malik Basintale were attacked.
