The NDC parliamentary candidate hopeful for Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency, Hon. Augustina Ama Tabuah Kwofie has donated jerseys and footballs to some football clubs and schools in the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency of theWestern Region.
Speaking during the presentation to the Clubs and schools, the NDC Parliamentary candidate hopeful urged the beneficiaries to take care of the items and make good use of them at all times.
According to her, sports is one of the most lucrative yet abandoned sectors that can provide a stable source of income to the youth and more importantly bring development to their area if the right investments are made.
She further pledged to ensure that huge investments are made in sports to make it beneficial to the youths in the Constituency.
She also urged the club owners to take the sports seriously since football has become one of the greatest forms of developing the country.
The beneficiaries were very happy and expressed their appreciation to the kind gesture of Hon. Augustina Ama Tabuah Kwofie since it is the first of its kind.
They also pledge their support to her that when given the nord as parliamentary candidate of the NDC in Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency, even those of them who are not NDC sympathizers will support and work hardly for her to win the parliamentary seat for the NDC in 2024.
Some of the teams that benefitted include Akango Football Club, Gwira Banso United Football Club, Gwira Tumentum Football Club and many others.
