Reports from trusted sources available to InsiderGH.com Indicates that the National Communication Officer of opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi is set to marry his “secret” fiancée later today in a private ceremony.
Sammy’s marriage to his longtime girlfriend is scheduled to take place today at Chain Homes in TseAdo with only some few invited friends and guests.
Former President John Dramani Mahama, newly elected National Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Johnson Asiedu Nketia, Former Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah and other dignitaries are expected to grace the event.
The marriage was scheduled to take place in November 2022 but was rescheduled due to the re-election campaing of the groom to be retained as the National Communication Officer of the NDC.
In 2018, he stood to be voted for as the National Communications Officer during the National Democratic Congress’ national executive elections and won by beating his only contender the then Deputy Communication Director of the Party Fred Agbenyo by 4,000 votes. He got 6,225 out of 9,000 votes cast whilst his contender Fred Agbenyo got 2,225 votes.
He contested unopposed in the just ended 10th National Delegates Congress of the party and was overwhelmingly endorsed by delegates.
