Mrs. Adom Biamah Benedicta (Obaa No), the aspiring Member of Parliament for the Achiase Constituency, made a significant statement as she, accompanied by Citizen Eye Ghana, submitted her nomination forms at the Eastern regional office of the NPP in Koforidua.
As the sole female candidate, she emphasized her commitment to bringing development to the Achiase constituency, with a particular focus on addressing the needs of the youth. Mrs. Benedicta highlighted, “The youth need to witness progress, and they serve as my primary motivation for seeking nomination.”
Expressing empathy as a mother, she acknowledged the challenges faced by unemployed youth struggling to make ends meet. Her appeal to delegates was clear: cast their votes overwhelmingly in her favor.
Managing Director of Citizen Eye Ghana, Mr. Alex Kwaku Tetteh, was also present during the submission of nomination forms. He stressed the party’s objective of retaining the Achiase seat, asserting that supporting Obaa No is crucial, given the perceived shortcomings of her male predecessors.
In an interview with CITEG Agric TV, Mr. Tetteh outlined the organization’s strategy to unseat the incumbent by aiming to set a record in the upcoming delegate election within the constituency.
Mr. Alex Tetteh revealed, “The president has urged us to promote female aspirants, recognizing women as the backbone of the nation. We, at Citizen Eye Ghana, endorse her because we believe in her vision.”
He further urged all parliamentary aspirants to reach out to Citizen Eye Ghana at 0208252347 for support in the upcoming elections, irrespective of their political affiliations.
