In a significant development within the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dennis Kwakwa, who held the position of Ashanti Regional Communication Officer, officially tendered his resignation on Monday, September 18, 2023.
Mr. Dennis Kwakwa clarified that his decision to step down was driven by his aspiration to pursue other political objectives and further his career in politics.
He expressed his sincere gratitude to the party’s dedicated members for their unwavering support and the valuable opportunity they provided him during his service.
Reports reveals that Mr. Paul Kwabena Yandoh, the Administrator of the Ashanti Regional Communications Directorate, will assume the role of acting Regional Communication Officer for the NPP in the Ashanti Region in the absence of Mr. Dennis Kwakwa.
Dennis Kwakwa took to Facebook to share his ambitious vision, stating, “The Mampong Agenda is now official. Dennis Kwakwa is the next member of parliament.”

Dear Sir,
RESIGNATION AS COMMUNICATION OFFICER – SHANTI REGION
I write to indicate my decision to resign from my position as the Communication
Officer for the Region.
Though I love and cherish working in such a role, it is a requirement I have to fulfil
in order to pursue other political goals in my political career.
I shall forever be grateful to you and the entire Regional Executive body for the
