The Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, has expressed confidence in the National Democratic Congress (NDC)’s position on the 2024 electoral ballot, encouraging party members to see the number eight as a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
His comments came after the NDC secured the eighth spot in the ballot draw conducted on September 20, 2023, for the upcoming general elections.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Speaker Bagbin described the number eight as an “excellent” position, emphasizing its significance for the party’s chances.
His page has recently featured content that prominently supports the NDC and its presidential candidate, John Mahama.
Bagbin was also present at the launch of the NDC’s manifesto, further reinforcing his visible connection to the party’s 2024 campaign efforts.
