He made this statement at a Community Engagement in Hohoe during Former President John Dramani Mahama’s Building Ghana Tour of the Volta Region.
According to him, this will be possible if Former President Mahama comes to office and completes the Eastern Corridor road and further makes Hohoe a Metropolis.
He mentioned that Hohoe is the most busiest city in the Volta region and also has most of the tourist sites in the region. He listed Wli Water Falls, Tsatsadu falls, Godenu Talking River, First Miss Ghana’s tomb in Alavanyo, Mountain Afajato and others as key examples of such tourist sites.
According to him all these will also make Hohoe the best tourist destination in Ghana.
What is a 24-Hour Economy?
A 24-hour economy is a system wherein businesses and services operate beyond traditional daytime hours, making them available in the evenings, night-time and early morning.
This allows for increased flexibility in accessing goods and services, and creates more job opportunities – especially for individuals who prefer or are available to work during non-traditional hours.
Operating around the clock also increases productivity and diversifies activities, making it possible to offer a broader range of services and foster a vibrant nightlife, cultural events, and entertainment options.
Additionally, a 24-hour economy facilitates global trade, communication and financial transactions, allowing for excellent connectivity and efficiency.
