Honorable James Gunu, the Volta Regional Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), marked his birthday in a heartwarming way by celebrating with first-time voters in the Hohoe constituency of the Volta Region.
The event, held at the DVLA/COCOBOD yard in Hohoe, was short but filled with vibrant colors, as numerous first-time voters gathered to cheer on, Mr. James Gunu, the diligent Regional Secretary on his special day.
During his interaction with the first-time voters, Mr. James Gunu encouraged them to set aside time in their busy schedules to register and obtain their voter identification cards.
He stressed the paramount significance of the voter ID card, reminding them that it is the key to exercising their fundamental right to vote in the upcoming 2024 Presidential and Parliamentary elections. On that, Mr. Gunu explained that it has become necessary more than ever before, for all the first time voters to ensure that they register so that they can win another independence for Ghana on 7th December 2024.
In return, the Chairman of the Hohoe Constituency expressed heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Gunu for his unwavering dedication to the party and the nation throughout the years.
He underlined Mr. Gunu’s profound importance to both the Constituency and the broader party. Additionally, he extended his gratitude for Mr. Gunu’s decision to celebrate this special occasion with the first-time voters of the Hohoe constituency.
On his part, Mr. Thomas Worlanyo Tsekpo, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for the Hohoe constituency, also took the opportunity to thank Mr. James Gunu for his continued sacrifices towards the party’s growth, and further encouraged him to continue his good works.
