In a scathing expose, H.E. Alhaji Said Sinare, a leading luminary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has blown the lid off Electoral Commission Chairperson Madam Jean Mensah’s clandestine collusion with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) government. “This nefarious alliance”, Sinare warns, is a brazen attempt to subvert Ghana’s democratic institutions, rewrite the country’s history, and enthrone a dictatorial regime on the suffering Ghanaians.
Addressing hundreds of youths in Akatsi South Constituency on August 31, 2024, at a health walk organized by the Selassie Ackuaku led NDC Youth Wing, Alhaji Sinare sounded the alarm, warning that Ghana teeters on the brink of a critical election, where the fate of democracy hangs precariously in the balance.
He charged that Madam Jean Mensah’s complicity with the NPP government poses a grave threat to the nation’s freedom and sovereignty, imperiling the very foundations of Ghana’s democracy.
With his characteristic candor, Alhaji Sinare assured the crowd that the NDC will never stand idly by while Madam Jean Mensah and her cohorts orchestrate a coup against the people’s will.
The party, he vowed, will mobilize all necessary resources to thwart this sinister plot and safeguard Ghana’s democratic heritage at the polls.
In a rallying cry, Alhaji Sinare urged the youths to rise up and defend their democratic rights at the polls, warning that the nation’s future hangs in the balance. With the NDC’s unwavering commitment to democracy and the people, Ghana’s sovereignty will be protected, and the forces of oppression will be vanquished, he said whilst speaking to the media.
