In an effort to foster unity within the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and work collectively towards the 2024 General Elections, Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team has sent a heartfelt message of inclusivity and collaboration to members of the New Patriotic Party, especially members of Mr. Alan Kyerematen’s campaign team.
The call to put aside divisive sentiments and join forces was made by Mr. Sammi Awuku today, September 6, 2023 in reaction to Alan Kyerematen’s withdrawal from the NPp Presidential primaries.
According to Mr. Sammi Awuku, regardless of previous affiliations or allegiances, the aim is to collectively address challenges, strengthen the party, and reaffirm the NPP as the party of choice for Ghana’s future prosperity.
His message extends an open invitation to all factions within the NPP, encouraging them to set aside differences and work hand in hand for the party’s greater good.
It further recognizes the dedication and contributions of key figures within the NPP, including Hon. Catherine Abelema Afeku, Yaw Buaben Asamoa Esq., Hopeson Adorye, Davis Ansah Opoku MP, Hon. Dr. Samiu Kwadwo Nuamah, Collins Randy Owusu Amankwah, and Richard Barima Sarpong, all of who are members of Alan Kyerematen’s campaign team.
These individuals, the message notes, have played a significant role in the party’s growth and progress.
Mr. Sammi Awuku, on behalf of Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, appealled to the aforementioned stalwarts of the NPP and other members of Mr. Alan Kyerematen’s campaign team to join forces with Dr. Bawumia’s camp in pursuit of another emphatic victory for the New Patriotic Party, guided by the principle of “Development in Freedom.”

To Team Bawumia, this is definitely not the time for us to make it “us vrs others” in our party or a time to pass uncomplimentary remarks to aggravate wounds as Dr. Bawumia has admonished us his campaigners.
Instead, this is a time to reach out to each and everyone to make the 2024 campaign and election victory a possibility.
To all the supporters of the candidates who couldn’t make it to the top 5 and supporters of aspirants who made it to the top 5, please let’s come together.Let’s solve our problems together and once again position the NPP still as the party of choice ahead of the 2024 General Elections to deliver economic prosperity for our nation, Ghana.
The challenges we face today as a party and country may be fearsome, but so are our strengths.
Dr. Bawumia and his team will work hand in hand with each and everyone within the NPP and outside the party to once again deliver victory in 2024.
