H.E Alhaji Said Sinare, former Ghana Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the John Dramani Mahama-led National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, led a powerful delegation yesterday on behalf of former President John Dramani Mahama to the 40-day Adua for Mrs. Chief Alhajia Risikatu Vanderpuije.
Although Mr. Mahama was not present himself, his delegation consisting of the founder of Zongos for NDC, H.E Alhaji Said Sinare and former deputy Masloc boss, Alhaji Mustapha Abubakar donated an amount of fifty thousand Ghana cedis (GHS50,000.00) in cash to the family members as sponsorship towards giving their bereaved scholar a befitting burial on behalf of the party’s flag bearer.
In his speech at the 40th-day Adua in Accra Newtown where he presented the donation to Mrs. Chief Alhajia Risikatu Vanderpuije’s family members, the charismatic Rawlings look-alike politician, H.E Alhaji Sinare described the deceased as a peacemaker and philanthropist who stood for peace and development in the Muslim fraternity.
He further stated that she would be remembered forever for her good deeds.
On behalf of the opposition National Democratic Congress and former President John Dramani Mahama, The NDC outspoken stalwart, H.E Alhaji Said Sinare urged Mrs.Chief’s family members to take solace in knowing that Allah who blessed them with such an amazing person like the late Alhajia Risikatu has taken her back now.
He said further that Mr. Mahama would have loved to be at the 40-day Adua for the donation but some more equally important assignment took him out of Accra.

During this somber occasion, we offered heartfelt condolences on behalf of our party and President H.E John Dramani Mahama to the immediate families of the late Mrs. Chief Alhajia Risikatu Vanderpuijeand, chiefs, and citizens in attendance for their loss.
Additionally, as a gesture of support during this difficult time, I presented a cash donation of GHC50,000.00 on behalf of H.E John Dramani Mahama to the grieving family.
The event was also graced by a delegation of chiefs, political actors, and other traditional rulers from various parts of the country.
