Parliamentary Candidate hopeful of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Evalue Ajomoro Gwira Constituency, Hon. Augustina Ama Tabuah Kwofie has donated 30 bags of cement to the people of Axim Brawire.
The donation which took place on Friday, 17th March, 2023, was in response to a request made by the people of Axim Brawire, especially those living behind the Egorle Stream in the Axim Brawire Electoral Area.
The 30 bags of cements donated by the NDC Parliamentary Candidate hopeful was to aid in the re-construction of the collapsed footbridge over the Egorle Stream.
Presenting the cements on behalf of Hon. Augustina Ama Tabuah Kwofie, to the people of Brawire, one of the leaders of her campaign team, King Bukari urged them to use the cements for the purpose it was requested for.
Receiving the cements on behalf of the people of Brawire, Master Red, the leader of the people who made the request thanked Hon. Ama Tabuah for her quick response in less than 24 hours to their request.
He further revealed that efforts by the people of the area to get the incumbent MP for the Constituency, Hon. Kofi Arko Nokoe to provide them with the needed cements did not materialized.
The people further disclosed that the incumbent MP is a native of Brawire and is well aware of the difficulties they go through during rainy seasons yet refused to intervene with the needed materials to rebuild the collapsed footbridge.
Some of the natives of the area who are branch executives of the NDC expressed their disappointment and further vow to campaign and vote for Hon. Augustina Ama Tabuah Kwofie who has already started helping them with their developmental needs.
