The Kwahu Nkwatia Divisional Police Command is intensifying its search for three male students from Mpraeso Senior High School in Kwahu South Municipality, following allegations that they were involved in the rape of a female student on Sunday, October 13.
These three students are part of a larger group of eight suspected to have been involved in the attack.
Police have already arrested five suspects, who are expected to be arraigned soon. Efforts are ongoing to track down the remaining three individuals, who are currently on the run.
The victim has received medical attention, been discharged from the hospital, and is now receiving counseling as part of her recovery.
In response, the school’s management has pledged full cooperation with the authorities and assured the public that they are taking steps to address the situation and maintain order on campus.
