Omni Media, owner of Citi FM and Citi TV, has been rocked by a wave of resignations since nearly all of the station’s top journalists have left.
All of these seasoned professionals who kept the station running and were the main draw for listeners made the decision to quit in droves within a few months.
Given the reputation of the media organization and what it delivered over the years, many find it difficult to comprehend the reasoning for their collective choice to leave the station.
Many people’s hearts were broken when well-known figures like Jessica Opare Saforo announced her departure from the station since they had grown to identify her with the Citi brand.
Dzifa Ametam, who was the host of the breakfast daily show on Citi TV, also left without any notice. Her viewers were disappointed when they painfully heard the news.
