The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has been hit with a sad news ahead of their National Delegates Congress on Saturday.
According to reports from trusted sources available toInsiderGH.com, Former Bole-Bamboi Member of Parliament (MP), Joseph Saaka Akati, has been reported dead.
According to family sources, Mr. Akati unfortunately died on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in the capital city, Accra.
At the time of filing this report, the cause of the former Bole-Bamboi MP’s death was still unknown.
However, his body will be flown from Accra to Bole either on Tuesday evening or in the early hours of Wednesday.
Burial arrangements will to be communicated to the public later.
Mr. Joseph Saaka Akati became a Member of Parliament for Bole Constituency in January 2009, after winning the 2008 Bole-Bamboi Parliamentary election with 11,452 of the total votes cast, representing 64.78%.
He began his political career that year after being elected to represent his constituency in the 5th parliament. He succeeded John Dramani Mahama who ran alongside John Atta Mills for presidency that year and won.
