The Volta Regional Secretariat of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announce its full support and endorsement of the 24-hour economy policy proposed by Former President and Presidential Candidate of the NDC, John Dramani Mahama.
According to them, the step they have taken reflects John Mahama and his next NDC government’s vision, commitment and dedication to foster a conducive business environment to promote economic growth and job creation.
The Regional Secretariat has subsequently opened a 24-hour stand to the public at the 6th Volta Trade and Investment Fair to unveil its commitment to what they have described as a progressive and pragmatic economic initiative, acknowledging its potential to bolster the region’s economic prospects and job creation for the teeming youth.
According to Volta NDC, the 24-hour economic policy aligns seamlessly with their vision for increased trade, investment, and overall development of the Volta region and Ghana at large.
They shared their strong believe that embracing Former President Mahama’s 24-hour economic policy will not only enhance business operations but also position the Volta Region and Ghana at large as a vibrant economic hub within the sub-region.
The event which officially opened on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 will end on December 10, 2023.
The Secretariat further invites stakeholders, investors, and the public to engage actively in discussions and initiatives geared towards implementing the 24-hour Economy policy for the mutual benefit of all residents and businesses in the Volta Region and beyond.
