The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Hohoe constituency, Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo has announced that there is no Member of Parliament in the HOHOE constituency because the member of parliament John Peter Amewu has fled the constituency for more than three years now without anyone setting eyes on him.
According to him the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Mr. John Peter Amewu, said the people of Hohoe are giving him too much pressure so he wouldn’t contest again.
According to Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo, this is the fourth year of the MP in office but there is nothing to show for the common funds he has received from government for all these years.
He has also charged the people of Hohoe to demand for accountability from the incumbent MP who claims the Presidency has forced him to contest against his will.
“At the time he came on his own to contest he fled for three years without stepping in the constituency, now that he is being forced to contest it means he will Never even return after the four years,” Efo Worlanyo Tsekpo quizzes.
